Who's The Toughest OSU Receiver To Guard?

Posted: Updated:

The Oklahoma State Cowboys continue to work toward finding guys to replace some stars they lost to graduation.

True freshman Wes Lunt takes over at quarterback for Brandon Weeden.  OSU Head Coach Mike Gundy will do all he can to put him in a situation to succeed.

But quarterback isn't the only star position the pokes are looking to fill.  They also need to replace Justin Blackmon and Josh Cooper at receiver.

Those two accounted for over 50% of OSU touchdown catches and 44% of the receiving yards.

OSU cornerback Brodrick Brown feels they have the guys to pick up the slack.

"Tracy Moore is just so big and so physical.  If you get too close to him he can just body you up and shield you off." Brodrick Brown said, "Then you've got Isaiah (Anderson), quick speed guy.  Then you have Charlie (Moore) and you never now with Charlie because he's just so smooth with his route running.  Those are the three older guys and they're pretty tough to cover."

The Cowboys will have a scrimmage Saturday in Stillwater.  They open the season on September the 1st inside Boone Pickens Stadium against Savannah State.
