Justin Hammer
Garvin County, OK -
OSBI agents arrested a man early Thursday morning for murdering his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend and then disposing of his body by dismembering it and discarding the pieces into a pond.
30-year-old Justin Hammer allegedly admitted to the authorities that he had shot the victim, dismembered him with a saw, and placed his remains in the pond the previous night.
A witness saw the buckets, smears of blood, and other items used in the murder at Hammer's home at 22792 North County Road 3170 in Elmore City.
The witness also told agents how Hammer used a mop, clothing, and towels to clean the blood inside the house.
OSBI agents arrested Hammer after a traffic stop near his home at approximately 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Once evidence is collected, it will be taken to the Medical Examiner's office for DNA testing.
Hammer was booked into the Garvin County Jail in Pauls Valley on one count of first degree murder.
He is being held without bond.
