A competency hearing for the man accused of a shooting outside the Tulsa County courthouse will continue Tuesday.
Andrew Dennehy is charged in the March 7th incident where he allegedly shot and injured a sheriff's deputy and innocent bystander.
Those deputies returned fire, hitting Dennehey.
Dennehey was in court Monday for a hearing to see if he's mentally fit for trial. Jury selection began around noon after a two-hour delay. Attorney interviews of the jury pool began into the evening.
The process will continue on Tuesday morning.
A psychologist retained by the defense says Dennehy exhibited psychotic delusions of persecution and doesn't have the present capacity to rationally assist in his defense.
