Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn says, Paul Ryan was a great pick as Mitt Romney's running mate.
Coburn held another town hall meeting Monday morning, this time in Sapulpa.
It's one of six forums to learn what matters most to Oklahomans.
In Sapulpa, the senator addressed the economy, social security, health care and education.
In addition, Coburn also fielded questions about Romney's pick for V.P.
He says, Ryan has the characteristics needed for that position.
"Also has great knowledge. He's not afraid to talk about the real problems in our country. Much different than most of the politicians in Washington, he's not afraid to go there. It is refreshing."
From Sapulpa, Coburn went on to Stillwater, Perry and Ponca City for three more town hall meetings.
