Homeless Man Arrested After Brutal Attack

A 25-year-old homeless man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of raping another homeless man along the Katy Jogging Trail in West Tulsa.  


It happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.  According to the reports the suspect,Jeffery Tallon, attacked and raped a 55 year old victim.


A witness nearby ran from the location to seek help.


When police arrived, they found the victim unconscious with severe head and facial injuries and bleeding excessively.  He was transported to a Tulsa hospital where it was discovered that he also had broken ribs and internal bleeding.  He also suffered a severe tear from the attack that was so bad it required surgery.


Police searched the area where the attack took place and found Tallon asleep near Charles Page Blvd. Tallon said to be homeless.


He now has a new home in Tulsa County Jail, where he has been booked on complaints of first-degree rape and aggravated assault and battery.  


Tallon is being held on $52,000 bond.
