Booker T. Washington Stadium Gets New Press Box

Cranes lift the press box into place

Booker T. Washington High School is celebrating an addition to their school Wednesday morning.

The S.E. Williams Stadium will get a new press box. It is scheduled to arrive on site around 9 a.m. and crews will hoist it into place around noon.

The project was funded by bonds, and will replace the stadium's original press box.

The stadiums at McLain and Webster High Schools have already received this upgrade and LaFortune Stadium at Memorial High School will receive a new press box next summer.
