A jury in Tulsa met Wednesday Morning to determine whether or not Andrew Dennehy, a man accused of opening fire outside the Tulsa County Courthouse, is mentally competent to stand trial.
The jury began deliberations shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The six-member jury ultimately decided that Dennehy is mentally competent and is able to stand trial in connection with the March 7 shootout that wounded two people.

Dennehy faces charges of shooting with intent to kill and two firearms counts.

He will appear in a preliminary hearing which is scheduled to take place October 17, 2012.
