More than a dozen firefighters were called out to stop a large fire just north of Tulsa Wednesday.
It broke out around 4:30 p.m. in Sperry near 86th Street North and Harvard.
The flames scorched nearly 20 acres.
An estimated 300 hay bales were destroyed by the blaze.
About 20 firefighters eventually got it under control.
And they had to fight fire with fire.
"Squirting water on them doesn't do a lot of good," says Chief Sam Bradley, Sperry Fire Dept. "We've burned a 50 foot perimeter all the way around them just kind of letting them burn up."
No buildings were effected by the fire.
Investigators say a downed power line nearby may have started it, but it's unclear what caused the line to fall.
