Brookside Restaurant Closes Its Doors By Giving Back

Posted: Updated:

A Brookside restaurant closes its doors Wednesday night for the last time.

But they went out in style.

For 6 years. The Brasserie has provided a french-style fine dining experience for customers.

But the economy in recent years forced it to shut down.

Despite money issues forcing it to close, they are donating all proceeds from its final night open to the victims of the Creek County wildfires.

The owner tells us it's just the right thing to do.

"Going out where there's no marketing reason whatsoever to give all the proceeds of this night to somebody else," says Tim Baker, owner. "It has to be engrained in you.. in the hospitality business to give back."

Baker says there's a chance the restaurant may re-open somewhere else down the road.
