Posted: Updated:

The Metropolitan Environmental Trust (M.e.t) will be accepting electronic waste at its Central Tulsa Location.

These items are being accepted due to a new partnership the M.e.t has with Natural Evolution, Inc., an electronics recycling company located in Tulsa.

This pilot program will start by collecting unwanted or unusable electronic equipment.
Items that are accepted include:

*computer batteries
*computer towers
*copiers/scanners
*keyboards
*laptops
*microwaves
*phones
*power cords
*DVD/VCR players

There are a few items the M.e.t is not accepting.  Those items include air conditioners, large appliances, light bulbs, monitors, refrigerators, TVs, or any item over 40 lbs.

Michael Patton, Executive Director of M.e.t. said "We're continuously making changes to adapt to what the Tulsa area needs."

The M.e.t. Central location is located at 3495 S. Sheridan Rd. Tulsa, OK. 74145
