Four out of five suspects were arrested Saturday night in connection with burglary of weapons from a home.
Tulsa Police officers responded to a call of gunshots being fired at the 100 block of South Xanthus Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived, five suspects ran from the house. Officers pursued and located four of them.
21-year-old Dominique Lamon Wilson was taken into custody after dropping an SKS assault rifle. Police found a bag of marijuana, digital scales, and a box of latex gloves on him.
As 18-year-old Dwayne Demons was taken into custody—police found prescription medication, including Oxycodone, and latex gloves on him.
As 20-year-old Lloyd Lee Trotter was taken into custody—officers found a bottle of Xanax and eighteen 7.62x39mm rounds, the kind used in SKS assault rifles, on him.
As 19-year-old Tyler De'Angelo Prince was taken into custody—officers found a bag of marijuana on him.
According to the arrest reports, the SKS assault rifle and the 7.62x39mm rounds were stolen from the home.
During the burglary, the homeowner's dog was shot and killed by the suspects.
The homeowner was not at home at the time of the burglary.
The fifth suspect in the burglary is still believed to be at large.
The four suspects that police arrested were booked just before 12:00 a.m. Sunday.
Wilson, Demons, Trotter, and Prince are all being held on felony counts of second-degree burglary, cruelty to animals, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of drugs with intent to distribute or without a prescription, and misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest.
Wilson and Trotter are also being held on felony counts of possession of stolen property.
The suspects' bonds range from $19,000 to $26,000.
Their court date is set for August 27th.
