A Tulsa woman was arrested Sunday after police say she fired a handgun in her front yard and attempted to elude officers.

Regina Larose Wilson, 58, was arrested on complaints of pointing a deadly weapon with intent, resisting arrest, reckless handling of a firearm and public intoxication, according to a police report.

Officers were dispatched to Wilson's home near South Lewis Avenue and East First Street Sunday night. Officers arrived to find a woman in her front yard. When officers approached, the woman tried to run inside the house, according to the report.

Officers noted that the woman appeared to be intoxicated and admitted to pointing a handgun at people in her backyard and firing some rounds into the air.

Wilson remained in the Tulsa County Jail on Monday. She is being held on a $21,600 bond, according to jail records.
