Man Robbed At Gunpoint While Taking Out Trash

A man isn't hurt when he's robbed while taking out the garbage.

Tulsa police said the incident happened around 11:00 o'clock Tuesday night near Admiral and Joplin.

Investigators told KTUL.com that the victim had just come home from work and was in his driveway when two men came up to him with weapons.

They took valuables from the man, and fled. The man's wife heard the commotion outside and closed the front door so the suspects couldn't get in.

No one was injured.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
