The spark from a lawn mower triggers a grass fire northeast of Sapulpa.
Sapulpa's assistant fire chief tells KTUL.com that it happened near 5700 S 43rd W Avenue just west of Tulsa.
A neighbor near there was mowing the yard and the machine kicked up some sparks. The sparks smoldered and eventually started a grass fire.
The blaze spread into some trash and junk piles on vacant property. No valuable property was damaged or destroyed.
