Female Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With 16 Year Old Student

An English teacher is accused of having sex with a student in Pottowatomie County.

A 16 year old student told police, 40-year-old Wendy Hickman of Bethel had oral and vaginal sex with him at his home over summer break.

The teen also told detectives Hickman sent him nude pictures and salacious text messages.

Investigators are working to find out if there are any more victims.

Hickman has resigned.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
