School students won't be the only ones getting a report card this fall.
A new grading system is being developed right now for all Oklahoma public schools.
State Superintendent Janet Barresi expects the A through F grading system to be up and running by October.
She says the letter grades will make it easier for parents to determine how well their local schools are performing.
Last year, the Republican legislature approved the new grading system.
Opponents of the plan question how the grades are being determined and the lack of input from Oklahoma school districts.
