Case Continues For Suspect In Elderly Woman's Death

The suspect in the murder of an elderly Tulsa couple is set for another court date.

Tyrone Woodfork is accused of attacking Bob and Nancy Strait in their east side home back in March of 2012.

Nancy Strait, 85, died the day after the accident and her 90-year-old husband passed away the next day. He was a war veteran.

Woodfork, 20, was in court Friday for a status hearing. The judge has ordered him to appear next week for a preliminary hearing. At least five witnesses have been called and sworn for the case.

A charge of 1st degree rape was added. His other charges include: one 1st degree murder charges, one 1st degree burglary, two counts of robbery with a firearm,  and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Woodfork's preliminary hearing is Tuesday.
