Posted: Updated:

Charges are formally filed against a Tulsa police officer accused of stealing from Hispanic victims.

Marvin Blades, Jr. faces five counts of 2nd degree robbery. The charges come in connection with five separate incidents that range back to August 3rd, 2011.

In each instance, Blades is accused of pulling over victims for a traffic stop and taking money from their purses or wallets.

Blades was allegedly wearing his Tulsa police uniform and in a Tulsa police patrol car in each of the traffic stops.

Court documents obtained by Channel 8 detail each victim's experience. In one case where money was taken, victim said he asked Blades to leave some money for gas.

He said Blades leaned into the car, looked at the gauges and replied, "No, you have enough."

There are warrants out for his arrest. His arraignment date has not been set, according to the state's online court network.
