The Cross Timbers Marina is honoring disabled veterans and their families.
Along with the Corps of Engineers, they unveiled a new cottage along Skiatook Lake.
The donation is in honor of the Folds of Honor organization, which supports these disabled war heroes.
It's exclusively to be used by them.
"To have a cottage that's designed for folks that have those kinds of disabilities is very important," says Cross Timbers owner Ron Howell. "To be on the water, is such a healing. A lot of these injuries are psychological injuries as well and the water is the most healing thing. That's why a lot of us like to go to the lake."
Howell believes this is a first of its kind in the country.
He hopes it'll inspire others to do the same elsewhere.
