University of Tulsa Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship confirmed following Tuesday's practice that MRI results on the right knee of senior receiver Bryan Burnham showed a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Burnham suffered the injury early in the fourth quarter of the Tulsa-Iowa State game this past Saturday. He was Tulsa's leading receiver in the contest with nine receptions for 90 yards.
Burnham will be sidelined for the remainder of the season and will undergo surgery at a later date.
