Dwaine Ryder (file mugshot)Tulsa Police release the name of a suspect they say is involved with a homicide on the city's west side.
Investigators say Emil L. Barron, 32, was gunned down 7:00 Tuesday evening at the Parkview Terrace Apartments, 1525 W. 59th St., just west of Highway 75.
Now, homicide detectives say Dwaine Ryder is connected to the crime.
Homicide detective Dave Walker said Ryder developed as a suspect early in the investigation.
A number of agencies, including Muskogee police, are working to find him
"It is believed that Ryder had been transient in the apartment complex for the past couple of months," Walker said. "He has several friends and acquaintances in the area that are capable of hiding Ryder or transporting him out of town."

Dwaine Ryder is described as a black man, 6 feet tall, and 300 pounds. At the time of the shooting, Ryder may have been wearing a brown shirt with stripes, blue jeans, and a beige hat with the letters U-N-L-T-D on it.
