Person Comes Forward In Dog Dragging Death

A person involved in the death of a Rogers County dog has come forward to authorities.

Over the weekend, someone tied a black lab to a vehicle and dragged it nearly a mile down the road.

The dog, Jetta, died from her injuries a month after giving birth to 9 puppies.

Tuesday night, the Rogers County Sheriff's Office told ktul.com their investigation is complete.

They've handed their evidence over to the district attorney.

They also stress that no arrest has been made yet.

They received a lot of tips after the case gained national attention.

"Nobody wants to see an animal, child, elderly person, or anything that sometimes might struggle to take care of itself abused in any way, shape or form," says Sheriff Scott Walton.

No suspect has been named and the D.A. has not yet decided on any charges.

The reward in the case has reached at least $10,000.

If you have any information that could help authorities, contact the Rogers County Sheriff's Office.
