By the time these folks finish this recount. They will never want to hear these names again. Nothing against the candidates, it's just the process is staggeringly detailed. Every ballot is examined, one person says the vote, another person checks it, then two others keep tally with a multi-colored pencil with a color for each candidate. And they have to do all of that for all of these, and so far, nearly half way through...
"It is a net change of one in our favor," said Marvin Branham.
And he's with the Pat Key campaign who was already ahead by 182 votes. Does Dean Martin's camp really think they have a shot at this?
"No question about it," said Jim Goodwin.
The Martin side says the key to victory is finding irregularities in the hundreds of absentees ballots that were sent in.
"The affidavits may not have been notarized or they may not have been signed," he said.
"If it has been notarized but the notary didn't sign it, that's not the voter's fault," said Patty Bryant with the Tulsa County Election Board.
She says the absentee process is monitored.
"We look at those on election night and we determine whether or not they were properly witnessed or notarized and we always try to err on the side of the voter," she said.
Nevertheless, camp Martin is hoping it's their ace in the hole.
"We contend that there's enough there to invalidate the certification of the election and may require a special election or new election," said Goodwin.
