Union/Jenks Prepare For A Trip to Texas

Last week, Union and Jenks went head-to-head on the football field in the MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl. This week, they are traveling buddies: both heading to Bedford, TX for tough tests against good Texas teams.

Union will take on Euless Trinity, while Jenks will face Desoto - both games will be on Saturday night.

Redskins coach Kirk Fridrich plans on taking his team to see Southlake Carroll play on Friday night, one of the better teams in the state of Texas. Prior to that, he's taking his team on a tour of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

In a cool twist, the Cowboys will allow Union to do their usual Friday walk through on the Cowboys Stadium field.
