Around 9 P.M. officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of 21st street and Broadway. When they arrived, police found one victim with gunshot wounds.
Muskogee County EMS transported 26-year-old Skyler Brewer to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The investigation surrounding the shooting is ongoing. Police believe the shooting stemmed form an altercation earlier in the evening.
No arrests have been made, however investigators have named a person of interest in this case. Police are looking for 18-year-old John Cone.
