A primary election recount for Tulsa's County Clerk has come to an end.
The county election board finished the process Friday afternoon around 3:15 p.m.
Republican candidate Pat Key maintained his win, picking up one vote. His opponent, Dean Martin lost one vote. The final unofficial tally was Pat Key, 9009 votes and Dean Martin 8825 votes. These results will not be certified until September 14.
Tulsa county election board administrators said Oklahoma voters should be assured that the new election machine technology is performing with great accuracy.
"The investment and implementation of this new system is demonstrating anticipated results as we discovered with what was Tulsa County's second election recount since we began using the new voting device in 2012," said Patty Bryant.
