A Broken Arrow dad is behind bars accused of abusing his daughter and wife.
Richard Lee Howe, 48, was arrested Saturday night at his home on south Ash Drive.
Howe allegedly grabbed his 9-year-old daughters arm and kicked her back side. His foot landed in the small of her back, according to arrest documents and the Broken Arrow Police Department.
Police were told that he came home angry with the little girl and was disciplining her. The girl's mother stepped in to stop Howe and he slapped her, police said.
The couple's other 11-year-old daughter was in the house but not hurt. Both the mother and little girl were not seriously hurt.
Arrest documents show that Howe left shortly after the incident, and was arrested as soon as he returned.
Richard Howe is in the Tulsa county jail on complaints of domestic assault & battery in the presence of a minor child and injury to a minor child.
He's being held without bond.
