The Oklahoma State Cowboys started off really well against the Arizona Wildcats Saturday in Tucson. They jumper out to a 14-0 lead before the Cats rolled off 30 unanswered points.
During their scoring draught the Cowboys just didn't play very well. Turnovers and penalties took the pokes out of the game.
OSU turned the ball over 4-times. Three were interceptions thrown by true freshman quarterback Wes Lunt.
Oklahoma State also committed 15-penalties for a school record 167-yards. The Cowboys expect to play much better this Saturday against Louisiana.
"God I hope so! It will be ashame if we don't." OSU Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken said, "But I think so. One week you can beat anyone in the country and the next week you can't beat anyone in the country. We have a good football team. We didn't play very well. We got beat by a good football team, but we didn't play very well. Hopefully we'll make that jump. Hopefully the guys have been humbled."
The Cowboys will try to get back on the winning track Saturday when they host the University of Louisiana at 11:00am at Boone Pickens Stadium.
