Masonry Students Create 9/11 Memorial Wall

Masonry students at Tulsa Tech turn an assignment into a memorial for the attacks of September 11th, 2001.

The students constructed a memorial wall as part of class work. They used brick, cinder blocks, tile, paint, rocks and water to create the memorial.

The wall shows several symbols of that day, including the twin towers, an American flag, firefighter medallions and a waterfall.

Students were given the assignment a few weeks ago and had to have it complete by Wednesday.

For the past three years, the 3 Gun Nation Pro Series shooting competition has only been for men. This year, they are opening it up to an elite group of women, and a Tulsa Police officer is one of those women. Ten ladies have earned their spot on this pro series. Each pro has to use a riffle, shotgun, and pistol, and it's not easy to be a master of all three.
