Police in Arkansas arrest a Tulsa man accused of a deadly convenience store shooting.

Jermaine Jackson, 19, was booked into the Pulaski County, Ark. jail early Wednesday. Authorities found him in the small town of Marianna, which is about an hour's drive southwest of Memphis, Tenn.

Tulsa Police homicide detective sergeant Dave Walker said Jackson is the suspect in the John White and Kristjean Thorsson murders. The two were gunned down outside the QuikTrip near 71st and Riverside last Saturday.

Walker said several agencies have worked endlessly on this case and the others that have occurred the past week to bring the violent criminals to justice.

"The Fugitive Warrant Officers and (Oklahoma Violent Crimes) Task Force members need to be commended for their long hours and tremendous work that have taken some of the most violent suspects off the streets," he said. Arrest records show that the U.S. Marshall's office also assisted in his capture.

It's unclear when Jermaine Jackson will be brought back to Tulsa. He is being held on two complaints of first degree murder.
