Investigators said Friday that Michael Eugene Brewster, 54, of Pensacola, Fla. was arrested by Roland police.

Officers pulled him over for a routine traffic stop Thursday, said special agent Rick Rains.

"At the time of the arrest, Brewster was driving a vehicle reported stolen out of Florida, with an alleged fictitious Utah license plate," Rains said. "The Roland Police Department is to be commended for their quick and thorough efforts in this arrest.  Due to their alertness and sound judgment, this arrest was made without incident."

Brewster has been dubbed the "Bucket List Bandit". During alleged bank robberies, he reportedly told bank tellers that he only has months to live.

The FBI said he is the suspect in bank robberies that happened in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, North Carolina, Tennessee, Illinois and Missouri.

Roland police caught Brewster on Highway 64 as he was turning to get back on Interstate 40.
