West Tulsa -
More than 10,000 people visited Scotfest 2012 over the weekend. Everyone Channel 8 spoke with said the overcast, misty weather was not a deterrent for attendees. Rather, they said the weather felt Scottish.
"The weather is kind of like a highland morning," said one of the organizers, Tom Oglesbee.
"Outstanding," agreed attendee Max Tankersley. "Perfect Scottish weather. Little misty, little overcast. Wonderful."
One vendor said he thought the gloomy weather actually motivated people to come out. He said his business was better this year than it was last year. There were about 30 vendors at this year's event.
Scotfest 2012 ends Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
