The pulled pork is divine, the beaked beans delectable, but it wasn't the food that attracted a recent visitor to the Billy Sims in Sapulpa.
"I was so mad," said manager Kassey Harris, as she and her crew the victims of some con artists.
"Basically what they do is get you confused," she said.
The man in the video had just paid for his meal with a $100 dollar bill, when the employee gave him his change he said...
"The guy was like, 'Whoa, whoa, you gave me too much money,'" she said.
He then basically wanted to start over with all the money on the counter and then...
"And then he whips out another $100 bill," she said.
This time he asked the employee to change it into $20's.
"And my employee was like, 'Ok,' and so he started counting it out," she said.
Then the guy said, you know what, just give me the change in $5 bills instead. Confused yet? So was the employee, and Kassey noticed something weird going on and came over...
"I tried to hop in and he was like, 'Stay out of it, stay out of it,'" she said.
By the end of the scam, he had fast talked his way quicker than they can slice sausage, to $200.
"They're good at it, I mean this is what they do for a living," said owner Chris Trail, trying to spread the word so other businesses don't get taken for the same expensive ride.
"You take control of the situation because what they're trying to do is confuse you, speed it up and keep it going," he said.
Adding insult to injury. The guy got a free meal out of it.
"They got the ribs too," said Harris.
