Tulsa, OK -

The remaining firefighters who were in the hospital from a recent school fire are returning home.

September 5th, eight firefighters were hurt while fighting a fire at Barnard Elementary near 17th & Lewis.  That fire was ruled accidental.  It was being used for the Tulsa County School of Arts and Science.

Two firefighters were still being treated at a burn center where they had to have skin grafts.

They are now headed home to recover.  It will be a while before they are able to go back to work.

Off-duty firefighters are still visiting and taking care of their injured coworkers and also helping their families.

Families of the firefighters say they would like to thank the community for all the prayers and support.
