A Jennings woman was indicted Tuesday morning on first-degree murder charges in a 2003 death of a man from the same town, according to documents unsealed by a multi county grand jury.

Amanda Sanders-Bolstad, 31, is accused of using a baseball bat to kill Heath Riley Reams in 2003, according to the indictment. Reams was 26-years-old when he was last seen in Jennings, Oklahoma.

A few months after his disappearance, Reams' 1997 Toyota 4Runner was found abandoned in a remote, wooded area about three miles east of Jennings.

Sanders-Bolstad also was previously convicted of other crimes, including forgery, perjury, credit card fraud and possession of methamphetamine.

If convicted, Sanders-Bolstad could face life in prison without parole.
