Arrrrr you in the mood for a free doughnut today?

Well you are in luck matey, Wednesday, September 19 is talk like a pirate day at Krispy Kreme.

Any bloke that walks into the doughnut shop using terms like shiver me timbers, buccaneer or blimey will get a free glazed doughnut.

If you want to take the extra step, anyone wearing a full pirate outfit will get a free dozen glazed doughnuts. They just ask that you leave your sword at home.

The promotion is just another fun way the doughnut chain is celebrating its 75 years in business.
