Tulsa Woman Gets Habitat Home, Plans To Have A Full House

Posted: Updated:

Thanks to Habitat For Humanity, a Tulsa mother has a brand new home.

And it's going to be a full house too, once she moves in!

Gaylia Patrick was presented with the keys to a brand new place on North Norfolk.

Patrick takes care of her teenage son, a six year old boy with special needs and her 10 year old nephew.

Until now, she's been living in a rental.

So, Patrick is super excited about her new home.

"It helps out a lot, a whole lot. No more renting. And that's a good thing. It going to be truly a blessing for me and my family."

In addition to her new home, Patrick also received cleaning supplies and a free red bud tree.
