September 19th, has been designated 'No Texting While Driving Awareness Day".
ODOT is using digital highway signs around town to get out the message.
There's one at the I-244 split in east Tulsa.
It says, "DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE.. IT CAN WAIT!!"
Also, AT&T is asking people to go online and make a pledge to stop.

Texting and driving causes 100,000 crashes every year, some of them fatal.
