Skiatook Man Dead After Truck Runs Off Roadway Early Friday Morning

A Skiatook man is dead after his truck ran off the roadway going northbound on Peoria early Friday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said just after 2 am Friday, Keith Charles Wilson (20) failed to negotiate a curve onto 131st Street going northbound on Peoria running off the roadway.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk injuries, according to the troopers report. No passengers were in the vehicle with him during the wreck.

Wilson's 1999 Dodge pickup would strike multiple trees before coming to a rest, according to the OHP report. Skiatook Fire Department arrived at the scene extricated Wilson with the "Jaws of Life" after he was pinned for approximately 30 minutes.
