
A Tulsa woman is dead after a fatal collision on a state highway in Cherokee county early Thursday morning.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that just after 5 am, a 32-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene of her car crash.
According to the OHP report, Troopers said that she was westbound on SH-51 five miles from Hulbert and her car caught on fire after she struck a gravel driveway on the state highway.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and the driver's next of kin have yet to be notified.
