If you love BBQ and want to support the arts in Tulsa, this is your weekend.
The Art of BBQ begins Friday night downtown.
The festivities will take place at 114 S. Elgin Avenue.
The fun starts at 7:00 and runs until 11p.m.
Saturday it gets underway at 11a.m., with the tasting lasting until 1:00 and the judging of the entries at 4:00.
You can purchase People Choice tasting kit for $10 and enjoy some fine meats.
Along the way there will also be live music and alley painting, along with raffles and auctions.
All the proceeds benefit the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa.
The competition is the real deal because it's sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
