Tulsa along with Bixby Police are searching for a driver after he rolled his truck and took out a telephone pole in South Tulsa, late Sunday Night.

Witnesses told officers the driver of a pick-up truck was driving Southbound on Sheridan Road near 116th Street South, around Eleven O'Clock, when he somehow lost control and went off the road. The pick-up truck rolled over onto its side and sheared off a nearby telephone pole, in the process.

When investigators arrived on scene they had two mysteries on their hands, where was the driver? and where was the rest of the telephone pole?

Tulsa Police Officer John Cozad tells KTUL.com, they're "not sure if it was a support pole, or if it was a full one and there's part of it that we're not sure if it ended up in somebody's back yard or not."

As for the driver's whereabouts, Cozad says he was last seen running Southbound and is described as white, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

If you have any information on this case, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at (918) 596-COPS (9677). Look for more later on-air on Tulsa's Channel 8 and on-line at KTUL.com.
