Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts
Bartlesville, OK -
Some of Hollywood's very own are calling Oklahoma home for the next few weeks.
Actors Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep are among some of the stars in Bartlesville shooting the movie "August: Osage County" beginning today.
The film is an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning comedic play with the same name.
Chris Freihofer, who is handling local casting, said there will be open calls for extras, one in Tulsa, in the next couple of weeks.
Shooting will take place in Bartlesville, Pawhuska and other locations in Green Country.
Stars like Juliette Lewis, Ewan McGregor and George Clooney have already been seen around Bartlesville, which isn't new to these types of sightings.
"You know, it's interesting, this is the third movie we've actually had in the last 6, 7, 8 years," said chief of police Tom Holland in a recent interview with Channel 8's Burt Mummolo.
Check back for updates as the movie begins shooting this week and send us some of your photos on Facebook (Tulsa's Channel 8) or Twitter (@KTULNews) if you see more of Hollywood walking around.
