The Sooners go back on the shelf this week as they take their second off week of the season. It may come at a good time for Oklahoma after a disappointing loss to Kansas State.
The Sooner Nation is in a bit of an up roar and frustrated with inconsistencies.
Many are questioning the Sooners tempo. When they go fast they do well. When they slow down they tend to struggle.
So why not go hurry up all the time?
"We've done pretty well with it. We have executed better in the hurry up and we're aware of that." Said OU Head Coach Bob Stoops, "As long as their moving the football and scoring points it's fine. But sometimes depending on what the defense is doing we need to change the play or change personnel and it slows you down too. Sometimes when you change plays you have to change personnel."
The Sooners will take the week off before heading to Lubbock, TX on October the 6th to face the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
