Broken Arrow Business Appears on Popular A&E Show

Posted: Updated:

A local business will appear in an upcoming episode of A&E's "Hoarders" this season helping a Tulsa resident overcome her battle with hoarding.

Mark Howard, owner of Action Pest Management in Broken Arrow, recently worked behind the scenes with the professional team of Matt Paxton and Dr. Melva Green to help a Tulsa woman's struggle with hoarding.

"Anytime we get to work hard and see a real change in people's lives, it's a great day," Howard said. His business assisted in the pest extermination of the residents' home during the episode filmed in Tulsa.

According to the Mayo Clinic, hoarding is defined as "the excessive collection of items, along with the inability to discard them." Their definition goes on to say that people who hoard, often don't see it as a problem.

The episode of "Hoarders" where Action Pest Management provides pest control will air this season on the A&E Network. For more information on the business, contact Mark Howard at 918-902-9687 or their website at www.takeactionpestcontrol.com.
