The calm expression of the man in the sketch betrays his true brutality.
"This guy was very violent," said TPD Sgt. Mark Mears.
When his victim, a 17 year-old girl heard her dog barking a the back door, she thought he needed it go out, not that there was a monster on the other side.
"This guy was right there at the door, and basically made a blitz attack," he said.
He punched her in the face, and after she fell, he continued to attack her.
"She rolled over trying to escape those blows and at that point he took a glass from the kitchen and began hitting her in the back of the head until she was rendered unconscious," he said.
When she came to, her clothing was ripped and she had been sexually assaulted.
"Have you seen him?" Channel 8 asked are resident Barbara Bahmer. "No, I don't believe so," she said.
She was stunned that such violence occurred nearby.
"That's terrible, nothing like that ever happened around here, it's usually a pretty safe neighborhood," she said.
His identity still a question mark, authorities urge the public to look at the sketch with a range of possibility.
"When you look at this composite, remember that that's exactly what it is, it's a composite, it's not a photograph of the bad guy," said Sgt. Mears.
