Tulsa Leaders Hold Meeting for Eugene Field Residents

Tulsa city leaders want to hear the opinions of the residents of Eugene Field neighborhood on developing the area.

Their hosting a meeting Wednesday night from 5-6:30p.m. at the West Tulsa United Methodist Church, that's near West 19th and Southwest Blvd.

The meeting is to discuss development and revitalization of this specific area.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
