Tulsa -
Residents looking to get their onion ring fix today can get them for free while benefiting the lives of some children.
Participating Long John Silver's locations will be raising money for The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis with Free Onion Rings Day. The hospital is part of the Children's Miracle Network and customers who come in can make a $1 minimum donation to try the seafood restaurant's new onion ring recipe.
Dollars from the campaign will be used to help improve the lives of children treated at The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis, according to the press release.
The restaurant also will be supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals all through October with the purchase of Miracle Balloon icons at the register. Customers who donate to The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis will receive personalized in-store recognition and a product coupon for each $1 donation.
