The small community of Disney mourns the death of a young boy.
Authorities said the three-year-old was killed in a fire at his family's home.
The blaze broke out early Wednesday morning in the Lakemont Shores subdivision.
Oklahoma state assistant fire marshal Joanne Sellars said the boy, his brother and mother were all asleep at the time.
The mom woke up to the smell of smoke and heat from the fire. She escaped with her 4-year-old son through a bedroom window, but tried to go back for the younger boy.
She couldn't force her way in. Investigators found the little boy's body in the living room, near the couch where he was sleeping.
The fire marshal believes the blaze began in the kitchen, but the cause is unknown.
Both the mother and her other son were not hurt.
