Tulsa, OK -

The City of Tulsa now claims that no personal information was hacked on the city's website.

The city notified 90,000 people that information they submitted on the website may have been accessed by an unauthorized user last month.

A follow up investigation revealed that no information was released, city officials said.

The notifications, mailed at a cost of $20,000, were required under state law to notify people of a potential breach.

"The good news is that we can now confirm that no personal information was accessed by an unauthorized source," Mayor Dewey Bartlett said. "IIn addition, we have used this opportunity to enhance our network security and strengthen processes that we would use to identify potential breaches."
